  • About me

I’m a christian girl in South Africa, a doctor. I’m married. I like to visit new places and see new things. I get bored and distracted quite easily. I tend to order the same things over and over again at restaurants. I enjoy medicine - the challenge and the humanity of it. I enjoy pictures, nature, original ideas, beauty, creativity, music, poetry, and things that remind me of the important things in life . I never have time for everything I want to do and all too often end up wasting the time I do get on (guess) the internet! I have many facets that only a few get to explore fully - you don’t know me until you know me (although I am working on this - learning to get past the superficial and into the deep).

Man shall not live on bread alone…

I came upon the following post quite randomly while reading a review of the popular and infamous book “The Shack”. The post has nothing to do with “The Shack” whatsoever, so set your mind at ease if you suddenly felt the irrepressible urge to close this window and move on, which I’m sure some did. (It always amazes me, how we can be drawn into such controversy – we all have discernment, we all have a Bible, and we all have the same Spirit of God alive inside of us, yet we so often disagree…)

Anyhow, the following post is about something else. Something some would call more controversial. Others would call it boring, or not applicable, or confusing. Whatever you call the topic, the writer has turned it into a delightful piece of bible study. I was really impressed. Now, for the name of this topic – Leviticus.

Here’s the post, written by Kevin Rhyne at his blog “This Bread Always”. Tell me what you think.
