  • About me

I’m a christian girl in South Africa, a doctor. I’m married. I like to visit new places and see new things. I get bored and distracted quite easily. I tend to order the same things over and over again at restaurants. I enjoy medicine - the challenge and the humanity of it. I enjoy pictures, nature, original ideas, beauty, creativity, music, poetry, and things that remind me of the important things in life . I never have time for everything I want to do and all too often end up wasting the time I do get on (guess) the internet! I have many facets that only a few get to explore fully - you don’t know me until you know me (although I am working on this - learning to get past the superficial and into the deep).

His posts often inspire me. Here’s the prayer: “The Lord saves not with sword and spear. For the battle is the Lord’s. 1 Sam. 17:47 This is what the Lord says to [...]

Discipleship vs Religiosity

In the words of our former lead elder: http://nicksblog3ci.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html Hope you find it as inspirational as I do…

My own personal definition of CHRISTIANITY

So, I was thinking on the way home from work about christianity. How would I define it, what does it mean to me, and how do I explain it without all the repetitive cliches that everybody’s heard before and don’t bother to think about? This is what I decided: Christianity is not about whether there [...]
