  • About me

I’m a christian girl in South Africa, a doctor. I’m married. I like to visit new places and see new things. I get bored and distracted quite easily. I tend to order the same things over and over again at restaurants. I enjoy medicine - the challenge and the humanity of it. I enjoy pictures, nature, original ideas, beauty, creativity, music, poetry, and things that remind me of the important things in life . I never have time for everything I want to do and all too often end up wasting the time I do get on (guess) the internet! I have many facets that only a few get to explore fully - you don’t know me until you know me (although I am working on this - learning to get past the superficial and into the deep).

I think you’ll like what they’re all about. Read their website introduction here. They really need investments at the moment in order to complete their project. It’s impossible [...]

The Road Less Taken

I was reminded of this poem by the blog of Nick Davis, Letters from Hertfordshire. What a beautiful poem. “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, American poet Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far [...]

Repentance… AGAIN.

I’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch. I’ve been confused about a few things regarding salvation. Friends of ours had lunch here the other day, and one of the topics they brought up was Choo Thomas’ book “Heaven is so real”. I read it last year, and I remember it challenged me [...]
